I purchased a flying 9A with an EI UBG-16 with no data logging capability. The Mux-8 was a few hundred if you could find it used or quite a bunch more for new. Hard pressed to spend that much on circa 70’s tech. I came up with a sub $50 solution. Will post the details if anyone is interested.
