I am redoing the instrument panel on my RV6. It will be a Garmin glass panel based system.

There are a variety of auxillary modules that need to be mounted. There is plenty of space for these modules between the firewall and subpanel but is it is difficult to get in and out of that space if any maintenance or alteration is needed.

Does anyone know of some "generic" aviation trays that can be mounted or fabricated so the equipment/mount can be easily pulled out?
