Following the plans has not been successful. Not even close. Any tips to overcome the egg shell gravity effect on the lower aft fuse to get it to slide in without undue force? Thx.

Not exactly sure what you mean, sent you a pm with my number, give me a call and Ill help you figure it out.

joining

I did mine not long ago and it worked out well after I finally figured out what layer went out / in.
I went to walmart and bought a bunch of putty knifes but only used a few.

If you do send pictures it should be obvious to us who have done it before.

Also once I joined it up the first time we have a progress inspection (we paid someone with experience to inspect what we are building) and they said the inner tabs need to be bent better to lay flatter for riveting. So I took it apart again. Once I had done it once it was very easy to join it again. And once it is correct the clecos join perfectly.

Don't loose heart, read the plan again, have a cup of coffee and you'll get it!

And please figure out how to post pictures, it would make things much easier.

Have fun, Larry

Third time?s the charm

Began fresh. Carefully aligned everything and with wife?s eagle eyes for interferences, it dropped/slid in. All holes matched. Thx for the help.
